Newly remodeled, this property was clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. Efficient blackout blinds kept the room dark for sleeping. The staff was helpful, and the continental breakfast was extensive. Waffles, hard, boiled eggs, and the usual.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, which made me feel comfortable from the start. I also really enjoyed the breakfast—there were plenty of tasty options to choose from. One of the highlights for me was the huge TV in the room, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is excellent, with lots of restaurants nearby, and a large grocery store right across the street, which was super convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

My room was perfect - until I tried to take a shower and the shower didn't work. The sink and toilet had water but not the shower. I went to the front desk and Ben was very helpful and kind and had me switched into another (Upgraded!) room in no time. I am in the customer service business and what is more important than things going perfectly, is how things are handled when it goes wrong (and it WILL go wrong!) Ben is a keeper! The following morning I found the happy, helpful Jennifer at the front desk and was charmed. Next time I am in this area, I will DEFINITELY seek out

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable which are the most important things for me. The free breakfast was above average. I loved all the plush foliage surrounding the hotel, and the quaint room where the hot tub was located had a tropical feel. The location of this hotel was excellent for us! It is near Natural Bridges State Beach, The Humble Sea Brewery, the Parish Pub and VIM Restaurant is right next door.

excellent staff; happy to mail a shirt to me that I left hanging in the closet. breakfast quite basic, nothing special. location just fine, about a mile from the ocean. plenty of good and reasonable restaurants within walking distance.

Clean rooms and very quiet - we were in one of the rooms to the back that we requested. Room is quite large and airy, with a good bed and decent bathroom. Nothing much special, but we really appreciated the parkette floor instead of carpet. Given prices in Santa Cruz and vicinity, the hotel's location and rooms, it's a decent price-quality ratio.

The receptionists were both very kind and polite to us. While they were checking us in we had good conversation about interests we both shared and it was all around friendly experience. They didn't make us feel like strangers and they didn't seem to want to get us in our rooms and out their hair. Very nice people.

The room was decently sized and clean, with a microwave, coffee machine, and fridge. The continental breakfast from 7am-10am was a nice touch. Customer service was good, there was plenty of parking, and they allowed for a 1-hour early check-in at no cost. The internet quality was decent.
